Experience
I have a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a masters degree in public administration. I've also completed a doctorate in public administration. I worked as an educator in the United States, Mexico, and Peru. This experience includes teaching Spanish at the middle school and high school levels, and teaching college level Spanish, social science, and philosophy. I've also tutored Spanish for everyone from high school students to US citizens working abroad. My tutoring specialties are philosophy and Spanish. When I start working with a student, I find out where they're at in their learning and identify where the gaps are. I then work on filling those gaps alongside the student. When I tutor students in Spanish, I focus on improving their grammar and pronunciation. Other subjects I can tutor include world religions, social sciences, social studies, and AP and IB level Spanish and philosophy, including test preparation. My other interests include Hispanic culture, encouraging cultural competence, science, politics, and religion.
