I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree and believe the fact that I am currently a student helps me relate more fully to those I am tutoring. I make an excellent tutor because I am both approachable and personable. As a high school student I tutored peers in English and math. Now, I find I am constantly being asked to assist peers and coworkers with classwork and proofreading. My undergraduate studies have focused on both the sciences and the humanities, which enables me to tutor a wide variety of courses.I tutor students from 1st grade through 12th grade. Some of the courses I tutor include algebra 1 & 2, calculus 1 & 2, elementary math, arithmetic, chemistry, science, reading, math, writing, American History, art history, general chemistry, cell biology, and social studies. I also tutor students struggling with their AP coursework and those who want to prepare for a standardized test such as the SAT, PSAT, or SSAT.During my free time I enjoy hiking, baking, and exploring the field of public health.
