Experience

I've always enjoyed teaching others what I know, and I started tutoring as a high school student. I believe a good tutor is able to understand concepts and explain them in ways that are easier for students to understand. Tutors also need to be encouraging and supportive while they work patiently alongside students, repeating concepts as often as needed to ensure comprehension. I've been tutoring for over 10 years, and I always bring these principles to my sessions. I can tutor students in algebra, anatomy and physiology, trigonometry, middle school math, geometry, elementary school math, drumming and percussion, pharmacology, pre-algebra, music theory, ACT prep, and more. I relate well to students, which is important for keeping students comfortable and engaged during sessions. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, watching sports, playing music, listening to music, and reading.
