My philosophy on learning is that students need to see learning as challenging, rewarding, and engaging. I believe that if you give your students positive feedback and encouragement, they begin to see learning as less of a chore and become proud of their achievements. When I was a child, I only became motivated once I became confidence from the positive encouragement of teachers. I strive to be one of the teachers that shower their pupils with encouragement and positive reinforcement. I have a strong academic and professional background that has led me to be a great tutor. I have my Bachelor of Political Science and Government. Before college, I graduated from a boarding high school called Lawrenceville School, it is one of the top high schools in the country. I have a very strong background in English, social sciences, humanities, and French. Additionally, I tutor students in the ISEE, having personal experience with it myself. I have also taught English as a Foreign Language to more than two hundred pupils in China. I am looking forward to sharing my love of learning with others. When I am not tutoring, you can find me cooking, watching tennis, and walking my three dogs.
